SPRAYABLE HYDROGEL MATRIX FOR CHRONIC WOUND / diabetic ulcer foot
SYNTHETIC HYBRID PEPTIDE CARRYING SPRAYABLE HYDROGEL MATRIX FOR CHRONIC WOUND HEALING AND SKIN REGENERATION
The present invention relates to the synthetic hybrid peptide sequence along with the sprayable hydrogel carrier system for diabetic wound treatment. It provides a novel potential skin regenerating hybrid peptide carrying hydrogel for chronic wound healing applications. Our developed system can apply in two ways as peptide enriched gel and peptide conjugated gel. Compared with peptide enriched gel, peptide conjugated gel can release peptide slowly from the gel matrix to effectively heal the wound. Complete healing with less scarring and it can apply as an ointment or hydrogel spray.
- Treatment for chronic wounds like Diabetic wounds
- Complete healing with less scarring
- User Friendly – Easy application in the form of hydrogel spray or as ointment
- Biocompatible
- The developed biocompatible hydrogel is a suitable carrier system for peptide conjugation
- Along with the wetting property, the pro inflammatory and neuro-protective action of gel along the surfactant property makes it a suitable wound dressing agent
- Less chance for allergic reactions
- Additional dressings can be used but not necessary
- Keeps wound environment moist
- Good healing in single dose application
- Storage: Refrigerator
